Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Lead Auditor to own the audit program under our nuclear quality assurance framework aligned with ASME NQA-1. You will plan the annual audit schedule and lead internal and supplier audits with a team of auditors and technical specialists.

You will write audit reports, verify corrective actions to closure, and maintain qualification records while staying independent from the audited work. Travel to sites is required.

Qualifications

• Current qualification as an NQA-1 Lead Auditor, or qualifiable within 90 days.
• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance with hands-on auditing experience to regulatory standards.
• Working knowledge of construction materials testing, special inspection, or geotechnical services preferred.
• ASQ CQA a plus.
• Ability to write audit reports and deliver findings clearly to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program, including internal and supplier audits.
• Lead audits end to end with a team of auditors and technical specialists.
• Evaluate suppliers of safety-related items and services; recommend approvals or removals.
• Maintain lead-auditor and auditor qualification records and support other program audits.
