Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Lead Auditor to own the nuclear QA audit program (ASME NQA-1). You plan the annual audit schedule, lead internal and supplier audits, write audit reports, and verify corrective actions to closure.

On projects you are the licensee's quality organization audits against, so your independence, records, and qualification file matter. Travel to Sugar Land HQ and regional sites is required; 5+ years in nuclear QA with CFR/NQA-1 experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Qualified or eligible for NQA-1 Lead Auditor within 90 days.
• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance with audits to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.
• Experience with field audits, supplier audits, and audit reporting.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the nuclear QA audit schedule and scope.
• Lead internal and supplier audits end-to-end with team.
• Write audit reports and verify corrective actions to closure.
• Maintain lead-auditor qualification records and support NRC-style audits.
