Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Lead Auditor to own the audit program under our nuclear quality assurance framework aligned with ASME NQA-1. You will plan the annual audit schedule, lead internal and supplier audits, and write objective-driven reports from site evidence.

On projects you audit a licensee's quality organization; you will maintain qualification records, supervise auditors, and verify corrective actions to closure, with travel as required to Sugar Land and project sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance with hands-on audits.
• Qualified as NQA-1 Lead Auditor within 90 days or within reach.
• Experience auditing to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.
• Knowledge of construction materials testing, special inspection, or geotechnical services.
• Writes audit reports that NRC inspectors can follow without extra coaching.
• Comfort delivering findings to the people who caused them.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program.
• Lead internal audits and supplier audits end to end with the team.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services.
• Classify findings, issue corrective-action requests, verify effectiveness.
• Maintain lead-auditor and auditor qualification records and support audits.
