Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Lead Auditor to own and run the nuclear QA audit program, aligned with ASME NQA-1. You will plan annual audits, lead a team of auditors, and verify closure of corrective actions with objective evidence.

Responsibilities include on-site audits, supplier evaluations, and maintaining qualification records. Travel to project sites and Sugar Land HQ is expected as required.

Qualifications

• Current qualification as an NQA-1 Lead Auditor or qualifiable within 90 days
• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance with audits to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1
• Experience with construction materials testing, special inspection, or geotechnical services preferred
• ASQ CQA a plus

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program
• Lead audits end to end including notification, checklist, entrance and exit meetings
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services
• Maintain lead-auditor and auditor qualification records
• Support owner, licensee, and NUPIC-style audits of the program
