Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Spring 2027 New Product Introduction Process Engineer Co‑op as part of the Operations Leadership Development Program. This on‑site role located in Fort Worth supports a two‑year rotational program and entry‑level roles after graduation.

You’ll work 40 hours/week Jan 2027–May 2027 or Aug 2027, develop pilot‑build verification, and help prepare processes for mass production with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Industrial Systems/Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Must be enrolled as a student at the University of Texas at Arlington during the co‑op.
• Proficiency in Excel and Office for data analysis, reporting, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and standardize verification processes for new product pilot builds.
• Evaluate BOMs, assembly sequences, work instructions, tooling, ergonomics, safety, and line balance.
• Observe and analyze manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for efficiency, quality, and productivity.
• Create and maintain standard work instructions, checklists, and process documentation.
• Map current processes and value streams to identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, quality, safety and cross‑functional teams to resolve issues and prepare designs for production.
