Job summary

1X is seeking an NPI Engineering Technician to help bring new NEO subassemblies to a mass-manufacturable state. You will dial in mechanical and electrical assembly processes, validate electromechanical designs, and troubleshoot issues that could stop the line at volume.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in manufacturing, assembly, or RMA service environment.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical and/or electrical production issues.
• Comfort interpreting work instructions, technical drawings, and build documentation.
• Working knowledge of precision mechanical assembly.
• Experience performing inspections, in-process verification, or production testing (preferable).

Responsibilities

• Dial in mechanical and electrical assembly processes for mass manufacturing.
• Troubleshoot production issues and drive corrective actions.
• Validate engineering changes through pilot builds and ensure stable releases.
• Own root cause investigations and close out with effective fixes.
