Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation is seeking an NPI Engineering Manager to lead a diverse team responsible for bringing new products into serial production. You will own industrialization, process validation and launch readiness from early design input to ramping production, coordinating cross-functional partners across Design, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain and EH&S.

The role requires a strong background in APQP, PFMEA, control plans and PPAP with hands-on leadership of capital projects and line

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master’s degree with 8+ years in NPI/manufacturing or related field
Strong experience leading engineering teams and driving launches on time, cost, quality and capacity gates
Proven track record with capital/tooling projects and cross-functional collaboration

Responsibilities

Lead NPI engineering teams and set priorities
Own launch readiness from design input through ramp
Participate in phase-gate reviews and present readiness
Drive APQP/PFMEA/PPAP and process validation on launches
Industrialize new lines and line conversions with takt, layout, and labor models
Plan and execute capital and tooling projects with cost control
Manage budgets, schedules and risk mitigation across programs
Ensure BOM accuracy, PPAP completion and clear-to-build readiness
Coordinate pilot runs, validation builds and production transfer
Establish routings, standard work and operator training
Govern engineering change during launch and hand off to sustaining teams
Coach NPI engineers and technicians with succession planning
