Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation is seeking an NPI Engineering Manager to lead the New Product Introduction engineering team, guiding products from design input through pilot builds, first-of-kind production and ramp to serial manufacturing.

You will own industrialization, process validation and launch readiness, drive APQP, PFMEA, control plans and PPAP, coordinate cross-functional reviews, manage budgets and schedules, and coach engineers toward successful on-time, on-cost product introductions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of New Product Introduction, manufacturing engineering, industrialization or product-launch experience.
• 3+ years leading engineering teams.
• 5+ years applying APQP, PFMEA, control plans, PPAP and process validation.
• 3+ years managing launches to defined time, cost, quality and capacity gates.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the NPI engineering team and set priorities.
• Own manufacturing and launch readiness from design input through ramp.
• Represent Operations in phase-gate reviews with readiness evidence.
• Drive APQP, PFMEA, control plans and process validation.
• Direct industrialization of new lines and line conversions: layout, takt and balance.
• Coordinate pilot runs, validation builds and production transfer.
