Job summary

Dover Corp is seeking an NPD Industrial Engineer to lead industrialization from design through production, coordinating across Product Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain. You will own ECP development, drive DFMA reviews, and ensure readiness for pilot and full-scale launches.

Experience in PPAP, process validation, and lean methods is required, with strong project leadership and stakeholder influence. Travel to suppliers and sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum five years of experience in product industrialization, New Development, manufacturing engineering, product engineering, or engineering-change implementation within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead industrialization activities for NPD and product launches from design through production launch and stabilization.
• Own ECP development and execution including sequencing, dates, validation, and supplier coordination.
• Liaise between Product Engineering and Operations to ensure designs become repeatable, scalable manufacturing processes.
• Lead DFM/DFA reviews, process risk, capacity, tooling, and cost reviews throughout Stage-Gate.
• Develop launch plans covering process flow, workstations, equipment, tooling, fixtures, routings, and work instructions.
• Coordinate prototypes, pilot builds, PPAP activities, and process validation.
• Lead cross-functional manufacturing-readiness reviews and establish entrance/exit criteria for pilots and launches.
• Define inventory disposition for raw materials, WIP, FG, service parts, and supplier inventory.
• Ensure BOMs, routings, drawings, specs, and PLM/ERP updates are complete before production cut-in.
• Verify material, supplier, tooling, and test capability before launch or change implementation.
• Drive problem solving for product, process, supplier, quality, and manufacturing issues identified during pilots, launch, and ramp-up.
• Capture lessons learned and improve industrialization standards and launch playbooks.
