Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking a skilled NPD Industrial Engineer to lead industrialization, from design through production launch and ramp-up. You will bridge Product Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality to ensure safe, scalable manufacturing processes for new products.

The role emphasizes Design for Manufacturing, process validation, and PPAP activities, with ownership of ECP development, sequencing, and readiness across the value stream.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical, or related field.
• Minimum five years in product industrialization or manufacturing engineering.
• Experience with ECPs, PPAP, and product launches.

Responsibilities

• Lead industrialization activities for new product development and launches.
• Own ECP development, sequencing, and manufacturing readiness.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure design-to-manufacturing translation.
• Drive PFMEA, process validation, and first article/PPAP activities.
• Develop launch plans, bill of materials, routings, and work instructions.
• Lead pilot builds, pre-production, and ramp-up reviews.
