Job summary

Dover Food Retail, a Dover Corporation subsidiary, seeks an experienced NPD Industrial Engineer to lead manufacturing-readiness from design through launch. You will bridge Product Engineering with Operations, ensuring scalable, cost-effective processes and robust change control across launches.

The role requires strong leadership and hands-on experience with DFMA, PFMEA, and PPAP. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in manufacturing engineering and a track record of disciplined process development in

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
5+ years in product industrialization/manufacturing engineering.
Experience with PFMEA, DFM/ DFA, and PPAP processes.

Responsibilities

Lead industrialization activities for New Product Development from design through production launch and stabilization.
Own ECP development/execution including sequencing, dates, validation, and training.
Coordinate between Product Engineering and Operations to translate designs into capable processes.
Lead feasibility, DFM/DFA, process risk, capacity, tooling, and labor reviews during Stage-Gate.
Develop launch plans covering process flow, workstations, equipment, fixtures, and routings.
Coordinate prototypes, pilot builds, PPAP activities, and process validation.
Lead cross-functional reviews and establish entrance/exit criteria for launches.
