Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. seeks an Advanced Practice Nurse to deliver patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team in New Jersey.

The APN will provide direct clinical practice, leadership, consultation, coaching, and ethical decision-making, with preference for wound care certification. The role requires NP training (Master's or Doctorate), NJ RN license, APN license, BLS, board certification (AANP/ANCC), prescriptive authority, and NPI, with strong communication and computer

• Master's or Doctorate in NP from accredited program.
• Maintains clinical competencies via continuing education and practice.
• Prescriptive authority per NJ state law (CDS/DEA).
• Collaborative agreement with physicians on staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

The Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) utilizes a patient-centered coordinated care model, demonstrating competencies in leadership, direct clinical practice, consultation/collaboration, coaching/guiding, research, and ethical decision-making. The APN works collaboratively with the practice/hospital team to assess, plan, and implement care for individuals with health and safety needs. Preference for wound care certification

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Graduate of an NLN/AACN accredited nursing program.
• Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education and clinical practice.
• Experience in a relevant patient care setting (or as regulations dictate).
• National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Prescriptive authority through CDS and DEA registration according to New Jersey state law.
• Collaborative agreement with physicians on staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.
