Job summary
Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. seeks an Advanced Practice Nurse to deliver patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team in New Jersey.
The APN will provide direct clinical practice, leadership, consultation, coaching, and ethical decision-making, with preference for wound care certification. The role requires NP training (Master's or Doctorate), NJ RN license, APN license, BLS, board certification (AANP/ANCC), prescriptive authority, and NPI, with strong communication and computer
Qualifications
- Graduate of NLN/AACN accredited nursing program.
- Master's or Doctorate in NP from accredited program.
- Maintains clinical competencies via continuing education and practice.
- Prescriptive authority per NJ state law (CDS/DEA).
- Collaborative agreement with physicians on staff.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient-centered advanced practice nursing care.
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
- Maintain licensure, certifications, and NJ state regulatory compliance.
- Utilize EHR to document care and coordinate transitions.
