Ascension St. Francis Hospital in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Registered Nurse with a nursing master's to join our outpatient psychiatric program.

You will conduct evaluations, provide medication management, and support IOP/PHP participants in a patient-centered team environment. The role offers a predictable Mon-Fri 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule, no weekend hours, and a comprehensive benefits package including signing and relocation incentives, CME allowance, and malpractice

Qualifikationen

• Licensed RN or NP credentialed in WI or MN prior to hire date.
• Master's degree of Nursing required.
• Preferred BLS Provider certification.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Outpatient Practice: See 15â18 patients daily in a supportive, patient-centered outpatient environment. This role helps support IOP/PHP programming by providing psychiatric evaluations and medication management to program participants.
• Balanced Schedule: Enjoy a predictable Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with no weekend hours or call obligations.
• Comprehensive Patient Care: Conduct detailed health evaluations, obtain patient histories, perform physical exams, and coordinate preventative health assessments, screenings, and immunizations.
• Diagnostics & Treatment Management: Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests while delivering tailored treatment plans and referring patients to specialists or community resources when appropriate.
• Patient & Family Education: Partner closely with patients, families, and caregivers to counsel them on care plans, health maintenance, and available community support.
• Clinical Documentation: Maintain clear, accurate documentation of clinical care and nursing processes aligned with specialty standards and health network policies.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • One or more of the following:
    • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Minnesota Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • One or more of the following:
    • Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Minnesota Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

• Preferred Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Master's degree of Nursing required.
