Job summary

Ascension in Milwaukee, WI seeks a MD/DO physician for an outpatient practice at Prospect Medical Commons. Location is Milwaukee with full-time schedule, 7am-5pm, Monday to Friday, no call.

Qualifications

• MD/DO required for medical licensure in Wisconsin or Minnesota.
• Current board certification or eligibility for Medical Practice in WI or MN.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient history and perform assessment via observation, interview and examination.
• Order, perform and interpret diagnostic studies.
• Perform preventative health assessments, screenings, immunizations, and patient care.
• Counsel and educate patients and families on preventative care and resources.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
• One or more of the following:
• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Preferred Credential(s):

• Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
