Job summary

Ascension, a leading nonprofit Catholic health system, invites experienced registered nurses to join a team that directs and optimizes patient care each shift. You will oversee nursing and support staff, assess daily care needs, and ensure assignments meet population requirements.

You’ll evaluate care effectiveness and address patient care complaints through established channels, contributing to safe, high-quality outcomes across the unit.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire.
• RN licensure from Wisconsin Board of Nursing (or multi-state/compact license).
• At least 1 year of cumulative job-specific nursing experience.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

What minimum requirements you’ll need

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State.

Education

• Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
