Job summary

HDR is seeking a Transmission Line Project Manager to lead projects from scope through closeout. You will coordinate with design teams and oversee budgets, schedules, and QA/QC within HDR’s Power Delivery practice.

The role may involve public engagement, permitting, and real estate coordination in WA and beyond. Ideal candidates have a civil/mechanical engineering background, a PE/FE or PMP in lieu of PE, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or mechanical engineering or related field.
• FE license preferred, PMP in lieu of PE.
• Minimum of 2 years project management experience.
• Strong organizational, communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage transmission line projects from initiation to closeout, including scope, schedule and budget.
• Lead Project Engineers, EITs, Designers and technicians, mentoring as needed.
• Oversee non-engineering aspects such as public engagement and permitting as applicable.
• Coordinate with leadership and talent acquisition to build project teams.
• Support business development and marketing efforts in the region.
