Job summary

Vishay Precision Group, Inc. (VPG) is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer for the Foil Division in the Northwestern US.

You will drive design-win opportunities, support customer applications, and grow OEM business within a defined territory. Working with engineers, distributors, and internal teams, you will act as a trusted technical advisor, deliver application support, and lead product qualification and technical issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel 50-70% regionally.
• Residence within designated territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop design-win opportunities and expand existing customer accounts.
• Execute territory growth plans with Sales and Account Management teams.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.
• Support customers throughout the design cycle from concept through implementation.
• Deliver application support, design reviews, and troubleshooting assistance.
• Assist with product qualification, validation, and technical issue resolution.
• Build relationships with engineering, purchasing, and business stakeholders.
• Partner with distributors to drive opportunity growth and product adoption.
• Conduct customer visits, technical presentations, and training sessions.
• Communicate customer requirements and market trends to internal teams.
• Work closely with Product Management, Quality, Operations, and Manufacturing.
• Maintain accurate CRM activity, forecasting, and opportunity tracking.
