Job summary

Vishay Precision Group, Inc. (VPG) seeks a Technical Sales Engineer for the Foil Division, covering the Northwestern US. You will drive design wins, support OEM applications, and grow in‑territory business by partnering with distributors and internal teams.

You will lead technical discussions, qualification, and product adoption while traveling up to 50–70% and maintaining strong customer relationships across engineering and purchasing stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Technical Sales, Field Applications Engineering, Design Engineering, or related customer-facing engineering roles.
• Experience supporting OEM customers in semiconductor, industrial, aerospace, defense, medical, or electronics markets.
• Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to travel up to 50-70% regionally and reside within the designated territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop new design-win opportunities and expand existing customer accounts.
• Execute territory growth plans with Sales and Account Management teams.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.
• Provide technical leadership through design cycles, reviews, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with distributors to drive opportunity growth and product adoption.
• Maintain CRM activity, forecasting, and opportunity tracking.
