Job summary

Vishay Precision Group, Inc. (VPG) seeks a Technical Sales Engineer for the Foil Division to drive design wins and grow OEM business in the North Central US.

The role blends technical leadership with account management, delivering application support, design reviews, and training while collaborating with distributors and internal teams. Travel up to 50–70% is required; residency within the designated territory is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
• 3+ years in Technical Sales, Field Applications Engineering, or a related role.
• Experience supporting OEM customers in semiconductor, industrial, aerospace, defense, medical, or electronics markets.
• Willingness to travel up to 50–70% regionally.

Responsibilities

• Drive design-win opportunities and expand existing customer accounts.
• Execute territory growth plans with Sales and Account Management teams.
• Provide technical leadership through design reviews, application support, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain CRM activity, forecasting, and opportunity tracking.
