Job summary

Rubrik in Lincoln, NE seeks a Regional Sales Direct for the SLED Northeastern territory to own bookings growth and team development. You will lead 6 Account Executives, drive pipeline development, and execute strategic market plans for public sector accounts.

Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Channel, and Product teams to close high-value deals and accelerate regional growth, advancing Rubrik’s cyber resilience and data protection leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of successful technology sales management experience leading high-performing teams.
• Deep, verifiable experience navigating State, Local, and Higher Education procurement cycles in the Northeastern market.
• Solid understanding of data security, backup, cyber resilience, cloud infrastructure.
• Proven ability in navigating complex enterprise sales cycles and negotiating high-value deals.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills for technical and executive audiences.
• Self-motivated leader thriving in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, coach, and inspire a team of 6 SLED Account Executives.
• Develop and implement a territory strategy to maximize Rubrik’s market share and revenue.
• Drive weekly forecasting and pipeline generation aligned with executive expectations.
• Engage in field to support AEs on complex deals and build high-level executive relationships.
• Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Sales Development, Channel, and Product teams.
• Participate in short-, medium-, and long-term planning as a core Public Sector team member.
