Job summary
Tigo Energy is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager for the Northeast region to drive growth among distributors, EPCs, and installer markets across the US. You will work with the Director of Sales – North America to identify new customers and cultivate existing accounts, combining strategic market development with hands-on sales execution.
Qualified candidates have 5+ years in BD or sales, a background in renewables or related industries, and a proven ability to manage complex
Qualifications
- 5+ years in business development or sales
- Experience with distributors, EPCs, or installers
- Background in construction, energy, renewables, electrical, HVAC, or similar
- Strong account development and negotiation skills
- Willingness to travel across the Northeast US and hold a US driving license
- Established US solar market network where applicable
Responsibilities
- Implement US sales and market development strategy with Sales Director
- Identify, target, and secure new distributor, EPC, and installer customers
- Grow existing distributor, EPC, and installer accounts
- Build relationships with account stakeholders and manage full sales cycle
- Support customers with product positioning and project discussions
- Coordinate with internal technical, operations, and customer support teams
- Maintain CRM data, pipeline, and forecast updates
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity
