Job summary

Montante Solar is seeking a Senior Business Development Director to expand our distributed solar and energy storage pipeline in New York, with growth in Pennsylvania and Illinois. You will build long-term relationships with IPPs, developers, and asset owners, driving repeat EPC, development, and O&M opportunities.

The role requires 7+ years in B2B BD, strong renewables knowledge, and a proven network. Travel throughout NY and neighboring states is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 7+ years in B2B business development or related field.
• Experience in solar/renewable energy beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop and expand relationships with IPPs, developers, asset owners, and other partners.
• Own and manage an active pipeline of qualified opportunities with forecast accuracy.
• Lead market-entry strategies for growth markets (PA, IL) and NY.
• Collaborate with internal teams to advance opportunities and ensure customer experience.
• Represent Montante Solar at industry events and conferences.
