Job summary

Metric Geo, a leading manufacturer of motion control technology, seeks a Regional Sales Manager for the New England/Northeast region. You will drive growth across OEM and distribution accounts, selling precision gearboxes and servo automation solutions while guiding customers through sizing and applications.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of technical sales in motion control/industrial automation, a track record in developing multi-million-dollar territories, and the ability to work with

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical sales experience within motion control / industrial automation.
• Strong knowledge of precision gearboxes, servo motors, drives and related motion technologies.
• Experience selling both direct to OEMs and through distribution.
• Technically capable of discussing servo sizing and mechanical/electrical applications.
• New England or Northeast region based preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow a multi-million-dollar sales territory.
• Manage a mix of OEM, distributor and end-user accounts.
• Sell technically engineered precision gearboxes & servo automation solutions.
• Identify new applications and guide customers through system sizing / solution selection.
• Develop long-term relationships with engineering, operations and purchasing teams.
• Manage major projects, quotations, negotiations and forecasting.
• Travel across the Northeast territory as required.
