Job summary

Metric Geo is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for motion control in the Northeast. The role focuses on expanding OEM and distribution accounts, selling precision gearboxes and servo automation solutions, and guiding customers through sizing and system selection.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in motion control or industrial automation sales, with technical aptitude to discuss servo sizing and related applications. Preferably based in New England or the broader Northeast region.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical sales in motion control/industrial automation.
• Strong knowledge of precision gearboxes, servo motors, drives.
• Experience selling direct to OEMs and through distribution.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow a multi-million-dollar sales territory.
• Manage OEM, distributor and end-user accounts.
• Sell precision gearboxes and servo automation solutions.
• Identify applications and guide sizing and solution selection.
• Build long-term relationships with engineering, operations and purchasing.
• Manage projects, quotations, negotiations and forecasting.
• Travel across the Northeast territory as required.
