Job summary

NPAworldwide is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the Northeast Territory (CT, RI, MA, NH, VT, ME, parts of Canada). You will drive revenue growth by expanding existing accounts and identifying new customers in the motion control space.

You will manage OEMs and value-added resellers, develop territory plans, and lead proposals from quoting to order. Travel ~50% to meet customers and support engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
• 4+ years in motion control sales.
• Knowledge in Mechatronics, Electricity, Software, Quality, environmental conditions.
• Understanding of servo and automation systems.
• Hunter mentality, self-starter.
• Experience with Salesforce CRM.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Grow sales in the Northeast region through expansion with existing customers and new opportunities.
• Manage projects & customers including OEMs and value-added resellers; develop territory business plan.
• Maintain regular contact with existing and potential customers.
• Use CRM (Salesforce) for opportunity tracking and reporting.
• Aim for 20% year-over-year sales growth.
• Leverage technical staff to meet customer needs.
• Identify market trends and provide information to marketing.
• Present products with features, benefits and advantages.
• Handle incoming leads for the territory.
• Craft proposals and quotes; convert quotes to orders to drive satisfaction.
