Job summary

Metric Geo is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the Cincinnati/Dayton area to drive growth in motion control solutions. This is a technical, customer-facing sales role focused on expanding OEM and distribution accounts within the territory.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in motion control or industrial automation, with hands-on knowledge of precision gearboxes, servo motors, drives, and servo sizing. Travel is approximately 75%.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical sales in motion control or industrial automation.
• Knowledge of precision gearboxes, servo motors, drives.
• Experience selling direct to OEMs and via distribution.
• Ability to discuss servo sizing and mechanical/electrical applications.
• Engineering, Mathematics or Physics background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow a multi-million-dollar sales territory.
• Sell to OEM, distributor and end-user accounts.
• Sell technically engineered precision gearboxes & servo automation solutions.
• Identify new applications and guide customers through system sizing / solution selection
• Develop long-term relationships with engineering, operations and purchasing teams
• Manage major projects, quotations, negotiations and forecasting
• Approximately 75% travel across the territory
