Job summary

Total Wine & More is seeking a District Manager to lead field store teams across the Maryland, Delaware and New Jersey markets. You will champion people development through coaching and performance management while driving top-line sales, margin, and expense control to meet company objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent retail leadership experience.
• 5–10 years retail background with multi-unit supervision.
• Experience in store operating standards and customer service.
• Ability to travel across multiple markets.

Responsibilities

• Drive business sales and profits by executing corporate initiatives and coaching store management teams.
• Build effective teams by outlining developmental pathways, providing stretch assignments, succession planning, and hiring top talent.
• Set clear objectives for store standards, results, and people development with direction on policies and performance expectations.
• Collaborate with management teams and partners to plan organization, delegation, and resource utilization.
• Coach teams to analyze business metrics for optimal efficiencies and results.
• Reinforce Total Wine & More standards of customer service, store presentation, and operations during regular store visits.
• Lead local vendor management, including cost collection, inventory, and merchandising services.
• Develop strategies to strengthen Total Wine & More's market position through competitive insights.
