WTW is seeking a strategic North America Head of Risk and Capital to drive growth, client engagements, and profitability across the property and casualty insurance and reinsurance sectors.

You will lead actuarial resources and Igloo-based capital modeling initiatives, shape market strategy, and manage delivery with cross‑functional teams. This role requires senior leadership and deep industry connections.

Qualifikationen

• Built and/or scaled an actuarial practice and/or actuarial software business.
• Experience with pipeline development and client retention.
• Experience running P&L for consulting or market-facing teams.
• Senior practitioner with expertise in reserving, risk management, capital modeling, reinsurance/ILS.
• Consulting experience with problem solving and implementation methodologies.
• Strong actuarial network in NA (re)insurance.
• Executive relationship builder for professional services and insurance tech.
• Ability to define practical strategies translating to engagements.
• Commercial discipline to negotiate contracts.
• Proven team-building and mentoring.

Aufgaben

• Market Development: Define the practice’s market strategy across North America’s property casualty insurance and reinsurance market; partner with leaders to advance priorities.
• Client Development: Develop and close risk & capital engagements and tech opportunities; achieve sales goals; collaborate across pricing, reserving, technology, sales, finance and legal.
• Client Delivery: Ensure client retention and expansion; tailor methodologies to engagement complexity; leverage regional and global experts to accelerate delivery.
• People & Team Development: Recruit, mentor, manage, and advance the team’s professional expertise; partner with HR and operations on talent.
• Financial Leadership: Own growth and profitability; manage revenue forecasting, growth and profitability goals.
