Job summary

WTW’s Global Insurance Consulting and Technology (ICT) is seeking to appoint Head of Reserving for North America. You will drive market strategy, lead client engagements, and oversee delivery and governance across personal and commercial lines in Bermuda, Canada, and United States.

You will partner with finance and sales teams to achieve growth and profitability. You will build and mentor a high-performing team, manage relationships with senior executives, and embed AI-driven solutions to

Qualifications

• Led or scaled an actuarial reserving practice or reserving software business.
• Managed pipeline development with new clients and retention.
• Experience running P&L for consulting or market-facing teams.
• Senior reserving expert for North American P&C, IFRS-17 knowledge.
• Proven ability to build executive-level client relationships and sell services/tech.
• Strong problem-solving, implementation methodologies, and delivery balance.
• Track record of building and mentoring high-performing teams.
• Ability to embed AI to improve reserving operations and ROI.
• Understanding pricing levers in professional services and tech.
• 15+ years actuarial/insurance industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Define North America market strategy for reserving, including tech-led transformations.
• Develop and close regulatorily required reserve engagements and tech opportunities across P&C.
• Own client retention and expansion; tailor methodologies to engagement scale.
• Lead talent development with HR and operations to build capabilities.
• Manage growth and profitability of the Reserving Practice; forecast revenue and margins.
