Job summary

Fulfill, the FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties, is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to support the Controller with accounts payable and related financial activities. The role offers growth within a small finance team that handles grants, inventory, and donor data.

The position requires at least five years of accounting experience, with familiarity in nonprofit environments and proficiency in Excel and Office 365 tools.

Qualifications

• At least five years of accounting experience, preferably in a non-profit environment.
• Two years in an accounts payable role.
• Experience with general ledger functions and month-end/year-end close.
• Strong proficiency in Office 365 products (Excel, MS Teams, MS Word).
• Experience with CERES 4.5 Software and CA/CRM tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable: process invoices, ensure compliance, reconcile, and prepare payments.
• Finance and Accounting: assist with month-end close, audits, and donor data reconciliation.
• Grant Management: prepare grant cost reports and journal entries for programs/grants.
• Inventory Management: participate in annual inventory and Navision/Ceres close.
