Job summary

Fulfill NJ, the FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties, is seeking a detail-oriented finance professional to assist the Controller with accounts payable and related accounting duties. The role supports donor reporting, grant cost allocations, and year-end close within a small, collaborative team at our Neptune HQ.

The ideal candidate has extensive A/P experience in nonprofit environments, strong Excel skills, and a commitment to confidentiality and accuracy in financial records.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of accounting experience, nonprofit preferred.
• Two+ years in accounts payable.
• Experience with general ledger and month-end close.
• Strong Excel and Office 365 proficiency.
• Ability to collaborate across diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Accounts payable management and ensuring compliance with procedures.
• Support month-end close and financial reporting.
• Assist with grant cost reporting and grant accounting tasks.
• Assist with inventory coordination and close processes.
• Maintain organized finance department filing and retention systems.
