The Mutual Group is seeking a Commercial Lines Underwriting Specialist focused on nonprofit human services and education. You will analyze exposures, set coverages and pricing, and advise other underwriters to grow a profitable portfolio.

Hybrid work arrangement with some in-office training and travel as needed. You will build agent relationships, oversee renewals, and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• 5+ years underwriting all commercial lines (Property, Liability, etc.).
• Prefer nonprofit human services and education underwriting experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Grow and manage a book of commercial lines business.
• Advise other underwriters and support staff on processes and procedures.
• Build relationships with agents to drive business flow.
• Underwrite renewals and new business with risk assessment and pricing.
