Job summary

Virginia Peninsula Community College is seeking an Education Coordinator I to provide instructional leadership for Allied Health noncredit workforce programs and manage a substantial teaching assignment across multiple locations.

The role focuses on planning, developing, delivering, coordinating, evaluating, and improving programs to meet industry demands and regulatory requirements, while engaging employers to support learner success and credential attainment.

Qualifications

• Current licensure, certification, registration, or other professional credentials to teach noncredit healthcare programs.
• Experience developing, delivering, coordinating, or evaluating adult education, workforce training, or healthcare education programs.
• Experience teaching adult learners and working within healthcare industry or healthcare education.
• Experience working with regulatory, credentialing, or accreditation requirements governing healthcare workforce education.

Responsibilities

• Provide curriculum leadership, instructor support, program coordination and leadership for Allied Health noncredit programs.
• Plan, develop, deliver, coordinate, evaluate and improve workforce training programs to meet workforce demand and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as primary instructional resource for assigned programs with employer engagement and continuous quality improvement.
• Assist in aligning curriculum with industry standards and learner outcomes.
