It primarily serves the residents of the cities of Hampton, Newport News, Poquoson, and Williamsburg, and the counties of James City and York. Provides instructional leadership for assigned noncredit Workforce Development Allied Health programs while maintaining a substantial teaching assignment. Plans, develops, delivers, coordinates, evaluates, and continuously improves Allied Health workforce training programs to meet workforce demand, regulatory requirements, and employer expectations. Serves as the primary instructional resource for assigned programs by providing curriculum leadership, instructor support, program coordination and leadership, employer engagement, and continuous quality improvement. Supports the College’s mission by preparing learners for successful employment, career advancement, continued education, industry credential attainment, and long-term economic mobility through high-quality workforce education and strategic employer partnerships. This is a full-time restricted classified position. Continuation of employment is based on funding availability. This position is designated as Campus Security Authority (Clery Act) and Responsible Employee (Title IX).
