DJ's Landscape in Holland, MI is seeking a Seasonal Salt Truck Driver (Non-CDL). The role supports winter operations, driving salt trucks to treat commercial lots and ensuring safety. Training and on-going safety instruction are provided.

Flexible scheduling for a part-time, winter-season position starts November 15 and ends April 15, with potential for full-time based on performance. Pathways to full-time exist based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Valid Chauffeur's License (company will assist in acquiring)
• Valid MDOT (company will assist in acquiring)
• Non CDL salt trucks experience or ability to operate salt trucks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Drive Non CDL salt trucks to distribute salt and de-icing materials on commercial parking lots.
• Monitor weather conditions and parking lot surfaces to ensure timely response.
• Play a vital role in keeping the community safe during winter.
• Work safely to complete snow removal to customer specifications and quality standards.
• Submit details of hours, activities and materials accurately and timely.

Duration

• Position is available for the winter season, typically from November 15 to April 15, with opportunities for full-time positions based on performance and business needs.

Requirements

• Drive Non CDL salt trucks to distribute salt and de-icing materials on commercial parking lots
• Monitor weather conditions and parking lot surfaces to ensure timely response
• Play a vital role in keeping our community safe during winter
• Work safely to complete snow removal to customer specifications and quality standards
• Submit details of hours, activities and materials in an accurate and timely manner
• Complete all training, onboarding, snow removal safety, and route learning
• Available for on-call work including nights, days, holidays, and weekend work as needed
• Must have access to reliable transportation to and from work and be able to work in extreme weather conditions including subfreezing temperatures and heavy precipitation
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Valid Chauffeurs License(company will assist in acquiring one)
