DJ’s Landscape Management in Muskegon, MI is seeking a Seasonal Salt Truck Driver to keep commercial parking lots safe during winter. No CDL? No problem—a Chauffeur’s License is enough to join our team and help with salt distribution and de-icing.

This part-time, on-call role offers flexible scheduling from November 15 to April 15, with potential for full-time based on performance and business needs. Training is provided and company assistance for license upgrades is available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid Chauffeur's License (company will assist in acquiring one).
• Valid MDOT (company will assist in acquiring one).
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to work in extreme winter weather conditions.
• Smartphone required.
• On-call nights, days, holidays, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Drive Non CDL salt trucks to distribute salt and de-icing materials on commercial parking lots.
• Monitor weather conditions and parking lot surfaces to ensure timely response.
• Help keep the community safe during winter.
• Submit details of hours, activities and materials in an accurate and timely manner.
• Complete all training, onboarding, snow removal safety, and route learning.
