Job summary

DJ's Landscape Management in Grand Rapids, MI seeks a Seasonal Salt Truck Driver (Non-CDL) to help maintain safe parking lots during winter. No CDL required; Chauffeur's License is needed and MDOT may be obtained with company assistance.

This part-time, seasonal role runs November 15 through April 15, with on-call shifts including nights and weekends. Paid training, competitive pay ($24–$26/hour) and a referral incentive await a dependable driver.

Qualifications

• Drive Non CDL salt trucks to distribute salt and de-icing materials on commercial parking lots
• Monitor weather conditions and parking lot surfaces to ensure timely response
• Play a vital role in keeping our community safe during winter
• Work safely to complete snow removal to customer specifications and quality standards
• Submit details of hours, activities and materials in an accurate and timely manner
• Complete all training, onboarding, snow removal safety, and route learning
• Available for on-call work including nights, days, holidays, and weekend work as needed
• Must have access to reliable transportation to and from work and be able to work in extreme weather conditions including subfreezing temperatures and heavy precipitation
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Valid Chauffeur's License(company will assist in acquiring one)
• Smart Phone
• Valid MDOT (company will assist in acquiring one)
