Job summary

DJ's Landscape Management is seeking a Seasonal Salt Truck Driver in Lansing, MI for the winter season. This non-CDL role involves salt truck operations on commercial lots, weather monitoring, and contributing to community safety during winter.

The position offers part-time, seasonal hours with flexible scheduling, on-the-job training, and potential move to full-time based on performance. Must be 18+, have a valid driver's license, and access to reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Drive Non CDL salt trucks to distribute salt and de-icing materials on commercial parking lots.
• Monitor weather conditions and parking lot surfaces to ensure timely response.
• Maintain safety to keep the community safe during winter.
• Complete snow removal to customer specifications and quality standards.
• Submit hours, activities and materials accurately and promptly.
• Complete training, onboarding, safety and route learning.
• Be available for on-call including nights, days, holidays and weekends.
• Have reliable transportation and work in extreme winter weather.
• Must be at least 18 years old, with a valid Chauffeurs license and MDOT (company assists).
