Job summary

DJ’s Landscape Management is seeking a Non-CDL Snow Salt Truck Driver for the Comstock Park, MI area. This seasonal, part-time role handles salt distribution on commercial lots with a focus on safety and reliability.

You will operate non-CDL salt trucks, monitor weather and lot conditions, and support winter maintenance efforts. The position requires on-call availability, willingness to work nights and weekends, and a valid chauffeur's license (MDOT) with company assistance to obtain both.

Responsibilities

• Drive Non CDL salt trucks to distribute salt and de-icing materials on commercial parking lots
• Monitor weather conditions and parking lot surfaces to ensure timely response
• Play a vital role in keeping our community safe during winter
• Work safely to complete snow removal to customer specifications and quality standards
• Submit details of hours, activities and materials in an accurate and timely manner
• Complete all training, onboarding, snow removal safety, and route learning
• Available for on-call work including nights, days, holidays, and weekend work as needed
• Must have access to reliable transportation to and from work and be able to work in extreme weather conditions including subfreezing temperatures and heavy precipitation
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Valid Chauffeurs License(company will assist in acquiring one)
