Job summary

Koniag IT Systems, Inc is seeking a NOC Tier 2 Technician in Washington, DC to support critical infrastructure. The role is hybrid with four days onsite and requires ability to obtain a Public Trust. You will join a 24/7 NOC team, handling escalations and mentoring Tier 1 staff.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in network operations, strong TCP/IP, and experience with SolarWinds/Nagios. Certifications like CCNA or Network+ are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years in network operations or similar technical support role.
• Certifications such as CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage enterprise network infrastructure, servers, and applications using advanced tools.
• Receive escalated incidents and perform in-depth troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Diagnose and resolve complex network connectivity, performance, and configuration issues.
• Develop and maintain runbooks, procedures, and technical documentation.
