Koniag IT Systems, Inc. is seeking a NOC Technician Tier 1 in Washington, DC. Hybrid onsite four days per week; ability to obtain a Public Trust is required. The role supports a mission‑critical government infrastructure with 7x24x365 monitoring and incident response.

The candidate will monitor systems, respond to alerts, and perform first‑level technical support while documenting incidents and contributing to knowledge base articles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years IT support/NOC experience.
• Basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
• Experience with ticketing systems and documentation tools.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network infrastructure, servers, applications, and services.
• Respond to alerts and service notifications per procedures and SLAs.
• Perform initial troubleshooting of incidents and document all actions.
