Job summary

Koniag IT Systems, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, seeks a Network Operations Analyst in Washington, DC to monitor, detect, and resolve network and cloud incidents within the enterprise NOC. The role requires ability to obtain a Public Trust and entails rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

You will work across on-premises and cloud environments (AWS/Azure), coordinate incident responses, and maintain clear stakeholder communication as part of a unified NOC team.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in a Network Operations Center, SOC, or enterprise IT operations.
• Experience with enterprise network and infrastructure monitoring tools.
• Experience using formal ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy).
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform 24x7 monitoring of network, infrastructure, and cloud environments.
• Detect, triage, and classify events and incidents by priority.
• Escalate to Tier 2–4 engineering teams with clear communication.
• Maintain incident records and work with ITSM platforms for resolutions.
• Contribute to metrics, dashboards, and knowledge base improvements.
