Job summary

Koniag IT Systems, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, seeks a Network Operations Analyst to support the Washington, DC area federal environment. The role requires the ability to obtain a Public Trust and involves rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities include 24x7 monitoring of the enterprise network, triage and incident management, and coordination with Tier teams. Strong ITSM experience and federal-sector familiarity are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of hands-on NOC/SOC or enterprise IT operations experience.
• Experience with enterprise monitoring tools and platforms.
• Experience using an ITSM platform (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy).
• Experience in a shift-based, 24x7 operations environment.
• Familiarity with Federal or large-scale enterprise IT environments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor 24x7 across network, infrastructure, and cloud environments.
• Detect, triage, and classify events with defined priorities and response procedures.
• Escalate incidents to Tier 2–4 engineering teams in a timely manner.
• Maintain incident lifecycle and documentation in the ITSM platform.
• Ensure rigorous shift handoffs and 100% coverage across watch periods.
• Contribute to NOC metrics and reporting and drive improvements.
