Velocity MSC is seeking entry-level Data NOC Tier 1 Technicians to join our 24/7/365 Network Operations Center. The role focuses on monitoring, supporting, and troubleshooting customer networks while coordinating with on-site staff and Tier 2 when needed.

The position emphasizes strong customer service, accurate documentation, and adherence to established troubleshooting steps, with shifts in the Eastern Time zone.

Formación

• High School Diploma required.
• Associate degree preferred.
• 1+ year of IT support, networking, or customer service.
• Entry‑level certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+) are a plus but not required.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor, support, and troubleshoot customer network environments.
• Document all troubleshooting steps, updates, and resolutions in ticketing systems.
• Escalate complex problems to Tier 2 when necessary.
• Coordinate with on-site technicians and carrier providers.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within the NOC.
• Follow instructions from Tier 2 Technicians.
