Job summary

Conterra Networks is seeking a NOC Technician I to monitor and support our network infrastructure, collaborating with 3rd party partners to resolve issues and documenting incidents per SOPs. This contract-to-hire role emphasizes reliable service and clear communication.

Education includes a High School Diploma or technical training; 0–1 year in Tier 1 network operations and strong customer service are preferred. On-call responsibilities apply.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
• 0–1 year in Tier 1 network operations support or related.
• Experience with data/voice networks; strong customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Monitor power alarms via NMS and create incident tickets 24/7.
• Troubleshoot data and voice network incidents promptly.
• Prioritize issues by severity and escalate when needed.
• Provide status updates and document each incident clearly.
• Coordinate with Field Operations; maintain communication with customers.
• Maintain QA scores and perform on-call duties as required.
