Job summary

Velocity is seeking a NOC Technical Manager to provide technical leadership and operational oversight for the 24/7/365 Network Operations Center in Holland, OH. You will lead Tier 2 engineers, coordinate incident response, and drive improvements in monitoring, escalation, and service delivery.

The role requires a strong background in network operations, incident management, and cross-functional collaboration with network engineering and service delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking, or related field; equivalent experience accepted.
• 5+ years in Network Operations, NOC, IT Ops, or related technical environment.
• 3+ years in technical leadership within a NOC or similar.
• Strong knowledge of network operations, monitoring, and incident management.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for a 24/7/365 NOC.
• Oversee monitoring, troubleshooting, and escalation of network/infra events.
• Lead and develop Tier 2 NOC engineers, supervisors, and escalation staff.
• Serve as escalation point for complex incidents and operational issues.
