Astound is seeking a NOC Technician I to monitor and triage network faults, support 24x7 operations, and coordinate with engineers and field teams.

You will manage incidents, open tickets, communicate outages via FLASH, and ensure timely resolution and documentation.

The role emphasizes shift flexibility, strong communication, and proactive problem solving within a diverse telecom environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical degree, relevant certifications or equivalent work experience acceptable.
• Knowledge of ITIL best practices including Monitoring & Event Management, Incident Management, Change Management and Problem Management processes helpful.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage 24x7x365 NOC operations and perform fault/performance triage.
• Open and manage incident tickets for service impacting events.
• Coordinate with engineers, field teams and vendors to resolve issues.
• Set up outage/repair bridges and document RFOs and causes.
• Notify stakeholders via FLASH messages and emails about outages and jeopardies.
• Maintain documentation and adhere to procedures.
• Provide timely communication and escalations as required.
