Job summary

VIATEQ Corporation seeks a Network Operations Analyst to support government and prime contract work in Washington, DC. The role requires obtaining a Public Trust and offers a robust 24x7 operations focus across enterprise IT environments.

You will monitor networks, respond to incidents, and manage the lifecycle from detection to resolution, working in shifts that include nights and holidays. Prior experience in government IT environments is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in a Network Operations Center, SOC, or enterprise IT ops
• Experience with enterprise monitoring tools and platforms
• Experience using ITSM platforms (ServiceNow, Remedy)
• Experience in a 24x7 shift-based environment
• Familiarity with Federal or comparable enterprise IT environments

Responsibilities

• Perform 24x7 monitoring of networks, infrastructure, apps, and cloud environments
• Detect, triage, and classify events; initiate and manage incident lifecycles
• Escalate to Tier 2–4 engineering teams as needed and communicate with stakeholders
• Maintain shift logs, handoffs, and operational notes
• Support Priority 1 incidents to restore service within targets
