Job summary

Delaware Department of Technology & Information (DTI) seeks a Network Operations Center Specialist to recognize incidents, diagnose issues, and track IT system, data center, and facilities events. You will perform initial troubleshooting, escalate where needed, and support change and incident management processes.

You will monitor operations, support service desks, and ensure physical security of DTI sites while contributing to knowledgebase and reporting activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of incident reporting and resolution activities in data center environments.
• Experience with desktop software, IT system and network monitoring tools, ticketing processes, and tape management subsystems.
• Familiarity with data center infrastructure including networks, servers, mainframes, and facility controls.

Responsibilities

• Identify and diagnose IT incidents; escalate to appropriate staff.
• Monitor batch jobs, tape management, and service desk tasks.
• Maintain knowledgebase; produce accurate activity reports.
